Mike Doyle: Senior Pastor
Mike is married to Linda and has five wonderful kids. He is passionate about fishing, enjoys the outdoors, and seeing people decide to follow Jesus.
Mike serves by preaching, teaching, and equipping and encouraging others to follow Jesus, to see God's Kingdom grow, and his Son glorified.

Jo-Ann Elvery: Evangelism & Cross Cultural Ministry
Jo-Ann is married to Peter and has been part of St James for over 25 years. She is passionate about caring for refugees and people who have come to Australia from other countries.
Jo-Ann serves by helping people become disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ by sharing with the lost in our area and beyond the good news of Jesus. She oversees our evangelism, including events like our International Food Night, English Class, and our Mandarin Dinner.

Malcolm Purvis: Administration
Malcolm is married to Ellen and has two teenage boys. He is passionate about old trains and cool technology
Malcolm serves by helping out with everything to do with administration at St James, in order to fulfil God's mission in Berala. He oversees correspondence, our database, Safe Ministry and Diocesan administration.

John Zhuang: Finances
John is married to Danielle and has 2 young kids. He is passionate about physiotherapy and serving Jesus.
John serves by helping out with everything to do with our finances, budgeting and giving, in order to fulfil God's mission in Berala. He overseas our budget, financial reports and paying our bills.

Jonathan Wallace: Facilities
Jonathan is married to Sylvia and has a newborn baby. He is passionate about bushwalking and helping boys grow into mature men of God.
Jonathan serves by helping out with our facilities, making sure they are helping to fulfil God's mission in Berala. He oversees property maintenance and repairs.

Safe Ministry
Church should be a safe place for everyone, and we are committed to making our Church a safe space. All our staff and ministry volunteers are fully trained and accredited when it comes to Safe Ministry.

Beth Boland: Safe Ministry Representative
Beth is our volunteer Safe Ministry Representative.
Beth is married to Alex and has been blessed with two lovely children, Jemima and Jason. She is a teacher, but currently spends most of her time looking after these two little ones at home. Beth is passionate about the work of New Hope International. In between busyness at home, she mentors the Indonesian National Director and helps coordinate online teacher training events for teachers in Christian schools, mostly in developing nations.
